What is Telomere?
Telomere is a small repetitive DNA sequence located at the end of each chromosome. Telomeres are vital for protecting the integrity of the genome. Telomeres shorten with each cell replication, eventually triggering cell senescence, hence telomere length is a marker of cellular aging. TeloAge is a DNA test that measures the average telomere length in white blood cells, and gives telomere age by comparing with the database of same chronological age population’s to indicate of your telomere aging pace.
