One of our strategic partners – BGI, invited Govita’s staff to visit China National GeneBank. In January 2011, China National GeneBank (CNGB) was approved by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), entrusting BGI-Research with its construction. CNGB is the only gene bank that is approved and funded by the Chinese government. They aim to support public welfare, innovation, scientific research and industrial infrastructure construction.
It was an honor to meet with the President of BGI, Wang Jian who also hosted all Govita staff for a tour of the site and discuss collaborations with BGI-CNGB.
