Lions Clubs International District 303, started in 1960, have the mission to serve society without personal gain. They held a charity carnival at the Hong Kong Science Park last Sunday on 24th March 2019. Govita participated in providing advanced health check for elderly members, including body composition, hand grip strength, muscle thickness etc. Public response was extremely good.
Aging population is one of the social problems in Hong Kong. Health care services for the elderly is gaining importance to maintain physical and mental wellbeing of the elders. We are honoured to be part of this event to play our part in serving society. Social awareness is very much part of Govita culture, we are happy to participate in more charity events to fulfill our mission.
